Hamburg, NY – The new year brings many exciting changes to the Southtowns Regional Chamber of Commerce (SRCC). Continuing to build out the value of the Chamber for its members and communities, a new custom user-friendly website and new staff are also part of the roster for this year.

In January, the Chamber welcomed its newest team member, Andrea Ball, as Director of Marketing and Outreach. In this strategic leadership role, she’ll oversee the development, implementation, and management of marketing strategies and event initiatives for the SRCC. Felicia Grassia, previous Events Director, has moved to a new role with local marketing firm Bruckman Media.

Executive Director Jamie Decker stated, “We want to do more and be more for our communities, so we are constantly evolving with the ever-changing landscape of our local economies, helping our business members succeed and our communities thrive. Andrea brings the right attitude, experience, and excitement to fulfill what our WNY businesses and the Chamber need. We are excited to have her on board. We also thank Felicia for her time with us and wish her the best in her new professional endeavors and continued success.”

The Chamber is also continuing to add to the team and is searching for the right person to fill their part-time Marketing and Events Coordinator position. This person will be integral to executing the Chamber’s ambitions for 2024.

In October 2023, the Chamber released a new custom-built website by the Quilted Squirrel, a local marketing and advertising agency in Orchard Park. New features include transaction transparency, easier ways to use Chamber benefits, and finding resources. Coming soon is a free job portal for members to post open positions and connect with students regarding workforce development opportunities.

Decker said, “We look forward to an exciting year and maximizing the Chamber’s influence to enhance the quality of life in our surrounding communities for everyone. Stay tuned and follow us; more fun will come!”
