SERVPRO of The Southtowns Partners with Blue Star Mothers NY7 for 2025 Valentines for Veterans Program
Hamburg, NY – SERVPRO of The Southtowns is proud to announce its partnership with Blue Star Mothers NY7 for the 2025 Valentines for Veterans Program. This initiative is designed to provide much-needed personal care items, and hand-made Valentines, to deployed service members overseas, as well as disabled veterans receiving care in the Buffalo and Batavia VA Hospital systems. As a part of the program, SERVPRO of The Southtowns will help collect donations of essential care items, such as toiletries, hygiene products, snacks, and other comfort items for our brave men and women serving in the military.
How to Participate
Community members are encouraged to drop off donations at SERVPRO of The Southtowns’ location at 97 Evans St. in the Village of Hamburg, or through their local participating schools. The goal is to gather as many donations as possible to create care packages that will be sent to deployed veterans just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Donation Deadline: February 5, 2025
“Supporting our service members, especially those who are deployed and away from home, is a cause close to our hearts,” said Daniel Bauer, General Manager of SERVPRO of The Southtowns. “We are honored to partner with Blue Star Mothers NY7 to make sure veterans and active service members feel appreciated and loved this Valentine’s Day, even if they are far from home.”
Items Needed for Donation:
These donations will be packaged into care kits and sent to military personnel currently deployed overseas as well as veterans in our local VA hospitals. By contributing to this program, individuals and local businesses will directly show support and gratitude to our veterans for their service and sacrifices.
