Hi there!  And welcome to EarthWise Pet in Hamburg, New York.  I’m Brian and pictured with me below are my three fur kids – Vlad, Finn, and Ellie (left to right).  We’re the family that owns and operates EarthWise Pet Hamburg.  And by “we,” I mean I do the organizing, ordering, and heavy lifting while the dogs are in charge of quality checking toys and taste testing.  It’s a team effort around here.

We live just a short drive down the road and absolutely love being part of this local community.  A few years ago while living in Colorado, we discovered a locally owned pet shop and salon that afforded us a holistic experience.  They took the time to get to know us and provided nutrition advice that made me a much better informed pet parent.   We changed everything about our dogs’ diet and it has made a world of difference in their overall well being.  Even our old gal Ellie got some pep back in her step.  This incredible experience coupled with the fact that I absolutely love dogs (some might say more than people) made me realize that it was time to ditch my corporate job and follow my heart.

Today I have the fortune of helping other families improve the quality of life for their pets.  As a family-owned business, I am keen on providing a unique and friendly experience to every human and pet that walks through our doors.  And on any given day, you might get to meet Ellie, my sunbathing beauty, Vlad, my creature of habit, or Finn, my sweet but spazzy wild child.

When we’re not at EarthWise Pet, you’re likely to find us out and about in town with my husband, John.  We take the dogs on walks twice a day, visit the dog park and love trail hiking.  We also love venturing out to community events like art festivals, the symphony, and author talks.  While the dogs can’t tag along to all of these places, have no fear that I do not forget about them.  I often save some of my meal in a “doggie bag” to take home to our pups.
