ACADEMIC & CAREER SUCCESS

GARDEN CLUB

Increase member knowledge about sustainable agriculture and equip them with the skills to grow, harvest, and prepare a variety of foods. Increase access to and consumption of fresh produce and willingness to try new foods and recipes. Increase member knowledge about local farms and farmers operating near them, have a better understanding of the way a food system works, and understand why sustainable agriculture is good for them, their local community, and the environment.

 

JR. STAFF

Manage the snack bar, help others, run a small business, prepare for a job, and learn how to be a great employee.

 

STEAM Club 

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) with innovative and creative activities for members we serve. After-school learning environments provide unique opportunities to advance S.T.E.A.M knowledge and increase interest in S.T.E.A.M-related careers.

GOOD CHARACTER & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

BOYS CLUB

Boys Club allows our male members an opportunity to learn what it means to be productive members of society, through a personalized experience.

 

GIRLS CLUB 

Girls Club allows our female members an opportunity to learn what it means to be productive members of society, how to empower other females, and how to gain confidence through school-year ages.

 

TORCH CLUB

Small group that meets weekly to discuss current issues and events, develop leadership skills, and provide help and support in the Club and community.

 

HEALTHY LIFESTYLES

HEALTHY HABITS JR.  

Designed to incorporate healthy living and activity learning. Emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity, and improving overall well-being.

Learn simple recipes from healthy granola to simple sandwiches along with simple kitchen safety.

1st-3rd grade

4th-12th grade

THE ARTS

ART CLUB Learn about artists, famous pieces, and techniques while practicing with fine art supplies. Artwork will be displayed in the “Parent Area” of the Club, on Facebook, and our website.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

Members will learn different aspects of photography and editing while taking pictures on Club cameras.
