The Southtowns Regional Chamber of Commerce is recognizing the impact of fellow citizens, students, and businesses within our communities for their contribution to the betterment of our region. The Community Impact and Character Awards will be held on Tuesday March 19, 2024, 5:30 at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant & Banquet Facility.
The community has spoken, and nominees are:
Community Impact (Business) – Chiacchia and Flemming / Everhaunt / Village Yoga
Businesses which have had an influential impact on bettering the community through their philanthropic efforts and endeavors.
Community Involvement (Individual) – Joseph Wenzel / Sharen Trembath / Tricia Miller
Individuals in the community who have donated within time and effort towards philanthropic efforts and is an influencer, mentor, and integral part of our community.
Non-profit of the Year – Erie County Agricultural Society / FeedMore WNY / WNY Foster Closet
A 501c3 organization who demonstrates impact to our region, community engagement and shows accomplishment of their mission statement.
Business of the Year – Butera’s / Pitch Hamburg / Southtown Audio Video / West Herr
Businesses who have had great success and has been a positive impact on economic growth.

The Event will also recognize:
Teacher of the Year – Laura Errington from Frontier Middle School who has gone above and beyond to benefit the overall good of their school and students.
Student Stars – Students from 9 school districts will be recognized based on their character and development and were selected by their respective school committees. Students form the Hamburg, Frontier, Lackawana, Lake Shore, St Francis High schools along with Big Picture Academy, Randolph Academy and Global Concepts Charter Schools will be recognized.
