Hamburg, NY – After a brief hiatus, the Economic Development Committee for the Village of Hamburg invites all community stakeholders to attend the Annual Village Update Meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Hamburg High School, 4111 Legion Drive, in the High School cafeteria.

During the meeting, participants will be able to engage with Village and Town officials, developers, and other community stakeholders. Updates include a variety of projects that are moving to the next stage beyond planning and participants will be able to provide feedback on projects such as the healthy neighborhood corridor, community garden, mural project, gateway enhancements where the Town and Village meet including improved traffic and pedestrian thoroughfares, legion field, the splash pad and hockey rink, and bike and hiking trail updates.

Over the recent years, stakeholder input has been vital to the progress that the Village of Hamburg has made in the historic preservation of landmarks, re-facing and updating structures, quality of life enhancements, and new business development, all of which are continuing throughout the coming years.

The Village of Hamburg Economic Development Committee collaborates with local businesses to promote the Village of Hamburg’s unique appeal, with a “small town feel” with its wide array of charming attractions and a plan for thoughtful growth.
