Penn Dixie announces Hops ‘N Rocks — our annual fundraiser — on Thursday November 8 from 6 to 9 pm at Buffalo Riverworks at 359 Ganson Street.
We’ll have dinner, drinks, live music, silent and voice auctions; prizes include tickets, jewelry, artwork, and gift baskets. Robin Evenhouse from Evenhouse Printing will serve as our auctioneer.
We will also unveil a preliminary rendering of our new educational facility. Designer Michael Anderson from Abstract Architecture — the group that designed Riverworks among other Buffalo buildings — will be on hand from 6 to 7 pm to explain the design and collect feedback from our members and guests.
Our fundraiser also serves as our annual membership meeting and we plan to share Penn Dixie news plus recognize our hardworking staff and volunteers. The event is made possible by the support of RP Oak Hill and the Blasdell Rod and Gun Club.
All are welcome to attend this family-friendly event. Tickets are $35 during pre-sale or $45 after November 1. Tables of 10 seats may be purchased for $300.
