Hamburg, NY— J.P. Fitzgerald’s has joined industry efforts to increase composting and recycling by establishing a working relationship with Eco-Products, an industry leader in the effort to advance Zero Waste systems. Together, they have carefully chosen a line of take out products that are both certified compostable and biodegradable. As part of their sustainability efforts, J.P. Fitzgerald’s has pledged to use straws, cups, bowls, clamshells and containers made from renewable resources or post-consumer recycled content. “We understand the connection between the health of the planet and the impact of disposable packaging,” says J.P. Fitzgerald’s owner Bob Brunner.  “We are excited to give our customers the opportunity to be better stewards of the environment.”
