August 17, 2018 – Medina, NY. – Medina Central Schools has selected Concept Construction Corp. to provide general construction services for (5) buildings within the school’s system. At roughly $5.8-million-dollars, the projects include various renovations and upgrades to Medina’s High School, Clifford Wise Middle School and Oak Orchard Elementary. As a prime GC, Concept will oversee all phases of the construction work including select demolition and foundation work for new band storage building, bus garage, concession stand and press box and bleachers at Vets Park, locker rooms, gymnasiums and a media center. Interior renovations include ADA compliance upgrades, renovations to cafeteria, auditorium and classrooms as well as exterior enhancements to the masonry structure, windows and doors. Work began in June 2018 with expected completion in February 2020.
