Just in time for the August 21 eclipse, Penn Dixie is pleased to offer solar viewing glasses to the public at no charge. The glasses are available at the Penn Dixie visitor check-in, located at 4050 North Street, from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. The Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium at Buffalo State College is sponsoring the glasses.
Penn Dixie is ranked as the number one fossil park in the Unites States and welcomes science enthusiasts from around the globe to uncover trilobites, brachiopods, crinoids, and corals that lived in a shallow ocean 380 million years ago.
