In partnership, The Friends of the Lake Erie Seaway Trail Center and the Tifft Nature Preserve invite the public to attend the first of the 2017 Annual Speaker Series presentation and birding exhibit.  Kimberly Adriaansen, Program Coordinator, presents an introduction to local birding opportunities along the Great Lakes Seaway Trail. Colorful photographs, real biofacts, and natural history of locally viewed species will be shared, as well as an introduction to local habitat significance and conservation.  To enhance the presentation, visitors can enjoy 24 colorful display banners illustrating the superlative birding spectacles along the Great Lakes Seaway Trail.  Tifft Nature Preserve is a 264 acre nonprofit wildlife refuge at the Outer Harbor in South Buffalo providing year-round educational programming, outdoor recreation, and environmental conservation. It is operated by the Buffalo Museum of Science and features five miles of beautiful trails, diverse habitats, and Visitor Center.
